Practicing Putting the Golf Ball Into Cup

What makes golf a highly admired game is that you cannot win golf by just 'physical power' or strength alone. The game requires a lot of 'intelligence' because accuracy and not only distance is important. To achieve this you need to select the right golf club, type of golf swing, body position, amount of body rotation or movement, timing, and rhythm and etc.

And to be able to make all these decisions effectively, or manage your game right, your mind needs to be relaxed. Can you make good decisions when your mind is out-of-control with negative thoughts? No, so you have to 'play' golf which means being mentally alert but relaxed at the same time. And to be able to do this, you cannot dwell on any bad shot during the game. Save the analysis after the game is over and just 'play' right now.

During this drill your goal is to hit the ball to the next marker or slightly past training yourself to never hit short while developing a feel for consistency. Because you are rapidly hitting the ball from one marker to the next, you are able to strike the ball while the feel of the last contact is still fresh in your mind. This gives you an advantage over practicing putting the ball into the cup, walking over, picking it up, putting it back down and setting up on the ball again.

And do not stop the taylorMade r11 tp driver from moving all the way to your back as not to diminish any power in your golf swing. At the end of the golf swing, your body will be facing your intended target location.

Now just because this is a short putt doesn't mean you can disregard speed. The last thing you want to do is baby the ball up to the hole. Give the ball the authority it needs to roll across the green and into the hole, not to sneak up on it and say "Excuse me," as it (maybe) falls in.
