Purchasing Grips that Fit Your Game

After you have addressed the ball, stand up and relax your arms and shoulders. Now everything is parallel. Bend over from your hips, and extend the club to the ball, keeping your shoulders in the same position they are now.

A common golf swing fault is to "slice" the golf ball. For right handed golfers, a golf slice occurs when the golf ball starts left of the target once struck, but finishes well right of the target. The slice is one of the worse swing faults encountered on the course because it often results in a very poor position to hit the next shot and because there are many causes to the golf slice. Common causes of the golf slice include an open club face at impact, too "weak" of a golf grip, poor body weight transfer and/or an out-to-in or "over the top" swing.

The best place to start is to try and do as much research and learning without the help of paid support. In general, players can think back or even realise when they are playing, the part of the game that seems to be the problem. From here they can set up certain drills or practice routines which will help them to improve.
