How to Hit Long Irons

How do you hit a pitch or a lob shot? The process is pretty simple. It is almost like a normal shot from the rough or fairway. The only difference is the distance. These shots are typically within 50 yards of the green.

The first thing I like to adjust would be my stance. I'm usually in favor of an open stance. This allows me to follow thru and control my swing. I will address the ball like I normally would. Then I would open up my left foot to create the open stance. My swing will probably be abbreviated because of the short distance.

It takes a lot of time and patience to improve your golf swing. It takes a lot of practice as well as patience if you want to hit those Long irons. There are a number of e books and tips you could find online which would help improve your golf swing, they would have tips which would improve your strokes with the 1 through 4 irons. The main two golf techniques to try and master are the grip and the swing. The first area to try and perfect is the golf grip. Your grip is the only contact that you have with the new callaway RAZR X clubs, and the club is the only contact you have with the ball. The grip is the start of the process, the beginning link between you and the ball. If this link is weak, it affects the whole chain. Many people have their own preference when it comes to this technique; however there are two main points to consider when trying to master this area of your game.

This, like many golf techniques, is down to personal preference and comfort. While it is a technique which is very popular with beginners, there are some very good players which use this technique.
